Taking the bus downtown will soon be more convenient, as a new transit exchange in Powell River opens next week.
BC Transit and the City says this new exchange will be at the Town Centre Mall, replacing the old downtown exchange.
The goal of the new facility is to offer not only transit in a more central and convenient location for customers, but also adds four bus days for improved bus connections.
