A new online tool is being launched by the city to gather feedback from taxpayers on spending priorities.
The Citizen Budget tool will be available online, starting Monday (November 14, 2016).
The tool allows residents to provide input on their priorities for spending as council gets set to develop next year’s budget.
Councillor Russell Brewer says the goal is to gather feedback on people’s spending priorities while also raising awareness of how the tax process works. He notes this is an excellent way to improve communication between the City and its residents.
The tool will be available through the city’s website until December 9th.
