Powell River’s transit system will get some changes starting this school year.
BC Transit, City of Powell River, and qathet Regional District made the announcement earlier this week, saying there will be a seasonal service change for the bus system.
As part of this change, Route 9 for Brooks School students will have an extra school trip at 3:15 p.m., while Route 14 returns to its seasonal fall and winter schedule.
BC Transit adds other routes will get minor adjustments to their schedule, with hopes of improving service reliability.
The changes come into effect on September 3, right after Labour Day.
