For the next two days, BC Hydro crews are going to shut the power off in some parts of Powell River.
Hydro says crews will be doing planned work on their equipment, resulting in three power outages for the city.
In a social media post, the City says the power will be cut off for those living in the Timberlane Park Area on Wednesday, affecting only 5 people from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
On Thursday, 42 people will have no power on Klahanie Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with another 5 to lose power at Arbutus Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
52 people will be affected.
