Starting today, you can drop off your trash at the Resource Recovery Centre.
The qathet Regional District says the centre is open for you to bring residential municipal solid waste, which includes garbage and trash.
This comes as the centre started accepting solid waste from businesses in the qathet region last week, with the rates being $280 per tonne. The minimum charge is $7.50.
They say with this change, Augusta Recyclers will no longer accept garbage starting October 1.
This opening is for limited time only, with the district to add updates on what other materials will be accepted soon.
