As we get closer to provincial election day, the City of Powell River is opening stations for people to vote early.
The city says on social media that starting on Thursday, they’ll open stations in two locations for residents to vote early for either of the four Powell River – Sunshine Coast riding candidates.
The locations are the Recreation Complex and Town Centre Mall.
At the complex, you can come in to vote anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from October 10 to 13, and from October 15 to 16.
At the mall, you can vote at the CIBC entrance between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, and on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
They say you can vote at the mall until October 19, the official BC election day.
