You can drop off recycling at the Resource Recovery Centre, as a recycling depot is being moved from Town Centre.
That comes from the qathet Regional District, announcing that the recycling depot will be moved to the Resource Centre, with plans to open it to the public soon.
They say once it’s opened, the depot will accept plastic, metal, and paper packaging, paper, cardboard, glass packaging, foam packaging, flexible plastics, and organics under 20 pounds.
More materials will be accepted soon.
This depot will be open Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The district adds for the depot at Town Centre, it will stay open until Halloween.
