Drivers be aware, after the weekend, crews will be out doing paving work on Marine Avenue.
The work starts Monday morning, weather-permitting, and will run all week to Friday. Marine Avenue will be single-lane, alternating traffic between Alberni Street and the lower Resource Recovery Centre during construction.
As well the traffic signals at the Marine-Alberni intersection will be turned off to better manage traffic flow. Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct drivers, who should watch for workers and follow their instructions.
Drivers should plan accordingly and expect potential delays while the work is underway.
