You can add what you want to see in Savary Island’s future in a survey.
The qathet Regional District says the survey is part of a project to update the Savary Island Community Plan, a plan that sets out the future vision, goals, and objectives for Savary Island’s land use planning.
With the plan last adopted in 2007, the district is going to update the plan to give the public chances to offer their own ideas and insights while building on old plans.
They say the projects in phase two, which looks at what the community values.
For this phase, they have put up an online survey where you can share what you value about the Island, and what you want to see happen for the next 25 years.
