Another Annual Public Meeting for the Comox Valley Airport is in the books, and according to the CEO of the airport, Fred Bigelow, things are looking up for YQQ.
Bigelow says they’re trying to get out the word, those airport landing limits…are now history. Meanwhile Westjet is expanding their services in a big way.
North Island and Sunshine Coast residents have taken advantage of YQQ’s winter season direct flights to Mexico, boosting passenger numbers. Officials are celebrating the ten year anniversary of the new passenger terminal.
