The government liquor store in Powell River will be getting a facelift soon, once a contractor is picked to do the work.
The provincial Liquor Distribution Branch is advertising for someone to renovate the interior of the store on Alberni Street, for around 87-hundred square feet of space. The work needs to be completed within two months.
The new design will move the Coldzone to a better location, replace all the flooring, and make layout changes. According to documents posted on BC Bid, the contractor will also need to provide temporary facilities so service can continue during the upgrades.
Potential bidders on the contract will be able to take a site tour on November 13.
