The qathet Regional District is looking for new members to help fill vacancies to advise staff on solid waste management across the region.
According to the district, five positions have opened on the Solid Waste Management Plan Monitoring Advisory Committee (SWMPMAC), and anyone 18 years of age or older is open to apply.
They say attending regular meetings is critical for this position, and broad representation of the regional district will be considered when selecting candidates.
Anyone interested in joining the board is asked to have a written application submitted by Nov. 25 to the district’s office or by email.
