The Powell River Fire Department welcomed members from the mainland and the Island for a recent training session.
Chief Terry Peters says it’s important that crews are prepared for any scenario.
Peters notes firefighters train as often as possible to keep their skills up-to-date. He says members of the Powell River Department also received some certification.
