Those taking Route 13 Texada Island will get new trip times right after New Year’s Day.
In a notice, BC Transit has announced that trip times for that route are changing because of BC Ferries updated schedule for January.
These changes aim to better align with the ferry schedule, according to BC Transit.
The new morning times from Texada to Shelter Point will be 6:20 a.m. for Town Centre Mall, 6:50 a.m. for Westview, Blubber Bay at 7:30 a.m., 7:40 a.m. for VanAnda, 7:56 a.m. for Gillies Bay, and 8:03 a.m. for Shelter Point. The hospital has no morning bus for the route.
The afternoon and evening times to Shelter Point will be 3:15 p.m. for the hospital, 3:25 for the mall, 3:55 for Westview, 4:35 to Blubber Bay, 4:45 for VanAnda, 5:05 for Gillies Bay, and 5:12 for Shelter Point.
They say for the bus back to Texada Island, the morning times run between 8:18 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., with the evening routes running between 5:42 and 7:30 p.m.
