Over 1,840 BC Hydro customers will lose power in Powell River later this week.
BC Hydro says crews will perform planned work on their equipment on Friday, resulting in 1,846 customers losing power in 47 different spots throughout the city.
These include 101 Highway, Abott Road, Alannah Road, Charlotte Road, Christensen, Cortes Bay Road, Coutler Bay Road, and Craig Road.
The outage starts at midnight on Friday, running until 6:00 a.m. the same day.
