Today’s weather could impact transit service for Powell River.
BC Transit says transit is running on all routes, but due to the snow and ice conditions on roads, it might impact their ability to bring scheduled service.
As a result, alerts have been posted for Route 1 Townsite/Wildwood, Route 2 Grief Point, Route 3 Upper Westview, Route 9 Brooks School, Route 12 Stillwater, and Route 14 Lund.
Only Route 13 Texada Island doesn’t have an alert.
Transit says these alerts are in effect until 10:52 p.m.
Any updates to service will come as soon as they are available.
