RCMP in Powell River are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman who hasn’t been seen in over a year.
68-year-old Linda (Diane) Albert was last seen by friends in Powell River on January 6, 2024, and was reported missing on January 13.
A vehicle was found on January 15 registered to her on the trail to Fairview Bay and Rainy Day Lake, near Saltery Bay.
Powell River Search and Rescue and RCMP Police Dog Services searched the area but were unable to find her or any evidence as to where she went.
Albert is a Caucasian female, around 5’2 tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.
She hasn’t been heard from since she went missing and anyone with information is asked to contact Powell River RCMP.
