Part of the seawalk in Powell River is temporarily closed because of a water main break.
The city issued a notice today (March 27) that the section between the South Harbour Coast Guard Station and the viewpoint is closed, and will be closed for several days until repairs can be completed.
The city says it was damaged because of a water main break on Invermere Crescent, which caused a portion of the highway bank on Marine Avenue above the Seawalk to wash out.
The city says repairs will take several days and they will post updates when the work is completed.
