BC Ferries crews pulled off a unique rescue Monday morning.
Spokesperson Deb Marshall says crew members on the MV Island Sky noticed a distressed eagle in the waters between Earl’s Cove and Saltery Bay.
Marshall says the bird didn’t appear to be injured.
Marshall says they aren’t too sure how the bird ended up in the water.
