City council approves recommendations made by Youth Council

Powell River’s Youth Council has come forward with two recommendations for projects in the city.

The first recommendation is to create better and safer trail connections between Brooks School, Willingdon, and the complex.

Acting Mayor CaroleAnn Leishman says the second recommendation was to add more recycling bins for beverage containers at the rec complex. She says it’s great to see the recommendations come forward.

Council approved both recommendations.
