The City of Powell River says construction on the Westview Seawalk restoration project could begin in September, pending final approval from the B.C. Archaeology Branch.
The city says the $1.53-million restoration is funded entirely through its Community Forest Reserve Fund.
Restoration of the seawalk will repair damage near the Westview viewpoint caused by a storm surge and king tide in January 2022.
