Spaghetti dinner will raise funds for Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast

The Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast will go through Powell River on Sunday.

The riders will gather for an event at Evangel Church on Manson Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13.

This year’s Powell River riders are corporal Philippe Caza, firefighter Jacob Hanson and paramedic Carrie Chernove.

They will parade up Manson Avenue, through Cranberry and Townsite, then down Marine Avenue to the Powell River Town Centre Hotel.

In the evening, there will be a Cops for Cancer spaghetti dinner at the Powell River Town Centre Hotel. It starts at 5 p.m., with tickets available at the RCMP detachment for $25.

All proceeds support the Canadian Cancer Society’s Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast.
