A group trying to stop an LNG export terminal at Woodfibre in Howe Sound is taking its message to hundreds of local government reps gathered in Whistler for the Union of BC Municipalities.
Tracey Saxby is with “My Sea to Sky”. She says they’ve been using Twitter and Facebook to play on the fact sessions on LNG and managing a catastrophic event are happening at the same time.
Saxby says they’re also holding a demonstration outside the convention hotel during Wednesday evening’s BC government reception…
Saxby says her group, which is based in Squamish, expects the Woodfibre LNGÂ project to be a major issue in the November municipal election in that area.
