Too many British Columbians are spending the majority of their income on rent, according to the 
BC Non Profit Housing Association.
The Association says they consider a “crisis level” of cost as spending more than half your money on housing…
And Executive Director Tony Roy says that’s happening for 25 per cent of renters in Powell River…
Roy says the numbers show a need for more affordable rental housing developments in BC.
