All that debate over BC Ferries possibly dropping the Nanaimo – Horseshoe Bay route has got one man trying to revive the idea of building a fixed link between the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
Martin Zylstra started the Twitter account: “Bridge to Van Isle” to kick off the discussion.
Zylstra says the last feasibility study on a fixed link was back in the 1980s, and it’s time for a new one.
The province is studying a bridge between Gabriola Island and the main Island… but that’s all right now.
