POWELL RIVER, B.C. – The Powell River Villa remain atop division 2 of the Vancouver Island Soccer League (VISL).
Kye Taylor scored two goals on Saturday afternoon to secure the Villa’s 2-0 win over Prospect Lake at Timberlane Park. Matt Liknes recorded the shutout.
Through seven games, the Villa have 18 points on the season. Up next is a matchup against Gorge United in Victoria on Saturday, November 3rd. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. at Hampton Park.
