You can talk about the challenges affecting Savary Island the most through online sessions.
On social media, the qathet Regional District announced three online sessions, with each one allowing community members to talk about how to address the biggest challenges for the Island.
The sessions are part of an ongoing project to update the Savary Island Community Plan, which hasn’t been updated in nearly 20 years.
The district says the sessions last for two hours, with the first running on February 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The second session also runs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on February 19, and the final session runs February 20 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
They ask you to register for only one session, as they will be identical.
Registration for the first session is closed, but you can still join the other two.
