POWELL RIVER, B.C. – The bus schedule will look a little different this week.
BC Transit will have its holiday schedule in effect. On Monday, December 24th, Sunday/holiday hours will be in place, and there will be no service on Christmas day, December 25th.
On December 26th, the transit service will run on its Sunday schedule. Regular service will resume from the 27th to 30th. December 31st will see Sunday service in effect.
There will be no transit service on January 1st, 2019 to accommodate New Year’s day. Regular bus service will resume on January 2nd.
SUNSHINE COAST
Along the Sunshine Coast, extra trips and free service will be offered after 7:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
The free evening service will apply on routes 1 Sechelt-Gibsons/Langdale Ferry, and 90 Sechelt-Gibsons/Langdale Ferry Express, and will help New Year’s Eve celebrators get home safely.
