The City of Powell River is sending a letter to the Province over concerns about materials at the transfer station.
Mayor Dave Formosa says the city has received a number of complaints from residents about construction materials piling up at the transfer station.
He notes that they’re showing support and responding to the needs of residents as best as they can. He says the city doesn’t want this to become a problem.
The letter has been sent to the Minister of Environment to ensure the issue is on the province’s radar.
