Police respond to break and enter at BC Ferries terminal

A 49-year-old woman is set to appear in court after police say she broke into part of a BC Ferries terminal.

Powell River RCMP say the incident happened on May 4 at around 3:45 in the morning. They say they were on patrol near the Westeview Ferry Terminal when they saw some personal belongings spread outside the main ticket booth.

When they took a closer look, they found the woman crouched down in the main ticket booth behind a locked door.

RCMP say the woman was arrested for break and enter, forcible entry and trespassing at night and has been released to appear in provincial court.
