Environment Canada says the hot, dry weather will be around for the foreseeable future.
Meteorologist Armel Castellan says the low pressure system that caused the cool start to summer has now given way to a high pressure system.
Castellan says we may see a chance of showers at the end of next week but then the sunny weather will return.
