NIC students meet with Finance Minister

North Island College Students were chosen to represent BC at a meeting with the Federal Finance Minister. Megan Tomlinson was one of the NIC students who got to meet with the Minister and discuss issues facing college and university students in BC.

She says they had the opportunity to talk to the Minister about the challenges students are facing.

Tomlinson says it was an honour to be able to represent post-secondary students in the meeting and the Minister seemed receptive to the feedback they were able to give about the realities facing students in British Columbia.
