Utility work and site servicing at the Tiskwat housing project will disrupt traffic in Powell River from Oct. 23 to Nov. 9.
The City of Powell River said trenching and construction will take place along Arbutus Avenue, from Marine Avenue to a point north of Walnut Street.
Motorists and pedestrians should expect road and sidewalk closures. Barricades with flashing lights will be used for overnight closures.
The city’s plan does not specify active flaggers or other manual traffic control personnel.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes while work is underway.
