Strong voter turnout at advanced polling stations

Elections BC has released the numbers from the first round of advanced voting.

More than 230,000 BC voters took advantage of the first advance polls on the weekend. 2380 voters went to the polls in the riding of Powell River – Sunshine Coast.

There will be four more days of advance polls, starting tomorrow and running through Saturday.

General voting day is a week today, on Tuesday, May 9th. For more details on voting in your riding, visit the Elections BC website at: elections.bc.ca.
