New scenic cruise added to Pacific Ferries schedule

A new service that’s being offered by Pacific Ferries is expected to bring more tourists to the Sunshine Coast.

Alex Varkeviser says you can now book a scenic guided cruise which will take you from Coal Harbour to Gibsons and back to Vancouver.

“It’s for locals of the province as well. In my opinion, the Sunshine Coast is one of the best kept secrets of BC, and it’s a fantastic tourist destination. We want to expose that to people and also help stimulate the local economy.”

Pacific Ferries did some upgrades to their two vessels over the winter.

The company says the feedback from their riders has been great this year and they take pride in offering a service that commuters can count on.
