Police Investigating B-and-E’s Believed to be Related

Powell River RCMP is looking into two attempted break-and-enters that they believe are related.

Sergeant Kevin Day says someone tried to break into Dog Gone Grooming (6758 Cranberry Street) on October 25th at around 5:30 AM.

Police attended the scene and found that the male was not able to gain access to the building.

Later that morning, they responded to an attempted break-in at the Cranberry Barber Shop (6762 Cranberry Street). Entry was again not successful.

The suspect is described as a 5’8″ male who was wearing, according to police, dark pants, a light jacket and ball cap.

He was last seen walking behind the Mountainview Apartments.

Anyone with further details is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or the Powell River RCMP at (604) 485-6255.
