The Ministry of Environment is looking for help with the annual BC Bat Count.
White Nose Syndrome is making its way to BC and the ministry wants to get an idea of the bat population before the fungus spreads.
Michelle Evelyn is one of the project leaders for the Sunshine Coast Wildlife Project.
She says they know of 35 bat roosts on the coast, but they suspect there are more out there.
Evelyn says there are two counting windows for the bat count and the first window is from June 1st to the 21st and the second window starts near mid-July.
