Pride Week in Powell River

This week is Pride Week in Powell River.

Events will be held all week long to celebrate the diversity of the community.

Powell River Mayor Dave Formosa says everyone is invited to check out all the events, including a drag show at the Sugar Vault on Saturday. He says there will also be a number of events at Willingdon Beach.

Formosa says he’s excited about the week and is looking forward to celebrating the peace and harmony Powell River offers to residents.
