The BC Green Party is officially naming Kim Darwin as its candidate for Powell River-Sunshine Coast.
Darwin says this is her first time running and she’s looking forward to the Provincial election next spring. She notes she now has an opportunity to be the community’s advocate in the BC Legislature.
Incumbent NDP MLA Nicholas Simons will also be on the ballot – seeking a fourth term representing the riding. The BC Liberals are expected to name its candidate in the next few weeks.
