It was a busy weekend for Powell River Fire Crews.
Deputy Chief Rocky Swanson says the types of calls ranged from first responders to alarm activations.
Swanson says the elevator had a mechanical issue and got stuck. Crews were able to get the people inside, out safely.
Swanson says other than the elevator call, the type of calls were not unusual, but it was a high volume of calls for crews over a weekend.
