RCMP investigating multiple cases involving vehicles

Local Mounties are investigating a number of cases involving vehicles.

Sergeant Kevin Day says they received a report of a stolen motorcycle.

The drive of the red Honda “U-Build” bike says he was riding near his home on the 4100 block of Highway 101 when the bike broke down. He pushed it into the bushes and when he returned later, the bike was gone.

On September 23rd, police were notified of a stolen bicycle.

Day says a garage on the 6300 block of Oak Street had been entered and a white ‘Giant’ 20-speed mountain bike was stolen.

On the night of the 25th, Day says someone had broken into a black Honda CR-V parked in a driveway in the 4000 block of Joyce Avenue.

Fortunately, it appears as though nothing was taken from the car.

Anyone with information on these cases is asked to call the Powell River RCMP or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
