The Powell River RCMP are investigating a case of vandalism at the Tla’amin Fish Hatchery.
Sergeant Kevin Day says they received the report on the morning of September 27th.
“Police were advised that sometime during the weekend, someone had broken one of the thick-tempered glass windows at the fish viewing area of the hatchery. There was also some damage to electrical that occurred due to the damage to the window.”
Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers or the RCMP.
Day says they’re also looking into the theft of a bicycle that was reported on Sunday, October 1st.
The bike is described as a white Giant Revel Aluxx 6000 series. He says the theft occurred outside of the Tim Horton’s in Powell River.
