RCMP Looking Into Theft on Cranberry Street

The Powell River RCMP is investigating a number of break and enters in town over the past week.

Sergeant Kevin Day says they received a report of someone spray painting the inside of the old Dairy Queen/Oceanside BBQ building.

A B-and-E was also reported to a shed at a residence on the 6700 block of Cranberry Street. According to the shed’s owner, the incident happened some time last week. An orange and white STIHL 372 chainsaw was stolen.

Day adds tools were also reported stolen from a carport of a residence on the 6600 block of Sutherland Avenue. That theft occurred on October 19th at around 5 PM.
