A Medical Health Officer for Vancouver Coastal Health says they’ve identified some key health issues and strengths for people in Powell River.
Doctor Mark Lysyshyn made a presentation of the results of the My Health, My Community Survey at the Vancouver Coastal Health public meeting last week
He says the study has identified a couple of challenges in the region.
Lysyshyn says the study also showed that Powell River has good fruit and vegetable consumption, good rates of self-reported mental health, and strong sense of community belonging.
