The City of Powell River is applying for monies to help with the planned consolidated waste water treatment plant.
Mayor Dave Formosa says the city is currently developing plans for the plant, which would also connect with the Tla’amin First Nation.
Council approved a grant application to the new Clean Water and Wastewater Fund Program that was announced by the province last month.
