Let’s Talk Trash!

The Let’s Talk Trash team is hoping to inspire residents to be creative in ways to reduce the amount of trash you produce.

A speakers forum was held on Sunday and will be posted online for people to check out. Spokesperson Inger-Lise Burns says the goal is to re-inspire people and give ideas on how to reduce and reuse items.

Burns says it’s an exciting time for Powell River with the compost program starting and the resource recovery centre in the works.
